Ik wist wel dat je Nederland weer zou waarderen: je bent immers nog jong?

En die verhoogde oplage maandag komt vast niet alleen door je tekst: de pagina met jouw foto gaat vast niet mee naar de visboer...

Tenslotte wil ik je bedanken voor de mooiste foto die ik ken van jou als fotograaf (een van de ijsfoto's in Harbin) en je meest komische journalistieke foto: je tweede foto in Moskou, uit het raam genomen.

Goed je weer hier te hebben. En tot wederziens op deze site: bij je volgende reis :-)

I finally found the message space, good. I had sent something through the chat by mistake, and of course you must be way away from this blog probably. I hope you get this email.

You remember me from a crazy night in Beijing, with a young man from australia, and your friend Georgia? We went to a bar with very old tables with people dancing on them, and later ended up looking for a place called the Bed, but never found it! I think you were leaving the day after! Well, how are you, how has it been!? I had a great time looking at your pictures, of your friends and your travels in russia. Impressive the ones of the freezing sea!!

How great it is now in the summer, with so much light, no? Today it's been a wonderful sunny day in Amsterdam. We were at the Vondelpark with some friends. That's why I'm writing to you. I've been coming on and off, staying at a friends house (we do the homeexchange, you know about it?), and it seems I'm staying sometime more (I work from "here", I mean this machine), so I thought I'd say hello, and if you are around this amazing country "married with water", one day we could catch up, and talk about our travels. You could give me a hint about groningen. I think I'm getting to be 1 per cent Dutch pretty soon! But the language, I try, but slowly. first the words and then the pronunciation, and that's a lot already! Anyway, I'm beggining to sea a little bit of the country. I went to Fryslând, and saw the Afsluidijk, loved it. I thought if I go to Groningen I'll let you know, but I don't know when. I'll try to make it in the summer.
